The ceremony, which was organized on the sports field in the center of Novi Badovac, was opened by the Mayor of the municipality of Gracanica Branimir Stojanovic.
"We will be always with you as much as we can, as before. I want you to last and to be happy, beautiful and smiling like today," said Stojanovic.
CAS "Slavuj" folklorists started performance with choreography "Wedding Traditions from Kosovo", and besides CAS "Slavuj" there have performed many societies from the entire territory of Kosovo, as well as guests from Cacak and Macedonia.
The management of CAS "Slavuj" is satisfied with the result the society has achieved in the first year of work, and they expressed special appreciation for the support to Gracanica municipality.
CAS "Slavuj", which until recently bore the name of "St. Sava", has about 50 members, children aged seven to twelve and over twelve years. The society was found in September 2013.
Manifestation anent the first birthday of CAS "Slavuj" was finished with the song "My dove" after which a white dove was released, symbolizing peace in Kosovo, but also throughout the world.
Cultural Artistic Society "Slavuj" from Novi Badovac celebrated the first anniversary of its existence. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the municipality of Gracanica Branimir Stojanovic.
