Funds for the reconstruction of the school were provided by the municipality of Gracanica, and as the Department of Urbanism, Cadastre and Environmental Protection announces the building should be renovated for 30 working days.
The project manager Vladica Trajkovic says for the municipality of Gracanica website that the works on carpentry replacement, inner door replacement and installation of new PVC windows in the classrooms have been in progress.
He added that thanks to funds of 27 thousand euros which were provided by the local self-government, the reconstruction of the toilets have also started where the sanitary blocks will have been rehabilitated and tiled.
The elementary school “King Milutin” in Gracanica is attended by about 500 pupils, and in this building there are also two secondary schools, School of Construction and Transportation and Medical school.
The works on renovation of “King Milutin” elementary school are in progress in this educational facility.
