Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, talked with citizens, who came to explain their problems on the day of the reception of citizens, this week as well.
Citizens who came to the meeting today share the fate of those who are unemployed, who have unresolved residential issues or serious health problems or are of poor material status. Equally patient for all, Popović listened to them in the hope that he would solve some of their problems in accordance with the possibilities, as well as in the previous period.
Radojica Spasić from Novi Badovac came to the mayor to ask him for a job for his son. He says he is satisfied with the meeting with the mayor of the municipality and hopes for a positive outcome.
“The conversation was in a very pleasant atmosphere and I am satisfied. The mayor has listened to me well and my problem is employment for my son who has two diplomas and is not able to find a job neither in the public nor the private sector. In front of him is the way on which he should start a family, which is very difficult without a job”, Spasić said.
The same problem bothers Dejan Lazić from Ugljare, who has been waiting for employment in the profession for 13 years already.
“I have completed a Nursing school, a pediatric course, and I have been waiting for a job for 13 years. I have a family, a son, we all live in a community and it’s very difficult to survive without a job. The mayor said he would send a commission soon to work on solving my problem”, Lazić said.
Among the citizens who came to the conversation with Mayor Srđan Popović today were those who wanted to talk to the first man of the local self-government about the problems of all locals. So, Lazar Simijonović from Skulanevo came to the mayor to get informed about to what phase came the solving of the problem of water supplying for the villages of Skulanevo, Lepina and Radevo.
