Ethno singer Danica Krstić will perform on the first day of marking
"Gračanica Municipality Day". A folklore show will be held before
the concert.
Danica Krstić's concert and a folklore festival will be held on the
plateau in front of the building of the Municipality of Gračanica
today, September 19, at 9 pm.
Gračanica Municipality Day, September 21, the holiday of the
Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, will be celebrated with three-
day rich cultural, artistic and sporting events.
The Gračanica Municipality Days will be officially opened at 10
am by the Children's Carnival of the Preschool Institution
"Đurđevak" on the plateau of the Cultural Center in Gračanica.
Volleyball, basketball and five-a-side football tournaments for
elementary school pupils will be held in the large sports hall in
Laplje Selo at 12 noon.
At 1 pm, a puppet show "Gulliver in the World of Puppets" will be
held in the Elementary School “Vuk Karadžić” in Lepina.
At 5 pm, a mediaeval caravan will be held at the playground
“Zamak” in Laplje Selo, where children will be able to try knight
suits, medieval clothes, shoot a bow and arrow, have a fencing
school, and the like.
A folklore festival, where the ensemble "Venac", cultural and
artistic societies "Slavuj", "Simonida" and "Branko Medenica" will
do their performances, will begin at 9 pm on the plateau in front of
the building of the Municipality of Gračanica.
This will be followed by a concert by Serbian ethno singer Danica
Krstić, who presented Serbia on the Eurovision Song Contest
2018 with the band “Sanja i Balkanika”.
