The Health Department of the Municipality of Gračanica donated
necessary medical supplies and equipment to the outpatient’s
clinic in Lipljan.
This outpatient’s clinic, which operates within the Health Center in
Donja Gušterica, was supplied with medicines, infusion solutions,
consumables and basic apparatus.
The medical supplies and equipment were handed over by the
Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, accompanied by
the Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija,
Damjan Jović.
Mayor Popović reiterated it was our obligation to take care of the
healthcare system.
“The outpatient’s clinic operates under specific conditions and it is
our duty to ensure that this healthcare facility is well equipped.
We have made sure that there is a good atmosphere here and
that is what makes us especially happy, that in such conditions
we have a good collective which is always ready to meet every
inhabitant", Popović said.
Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Damjan
Jović, said he visited people in Lipljan and medical workers today
who treated not only the Serbian people but also Albanian
neighbors.
"I'm glad I found a united collective to which nothing is difficult. In
such conditions it is a pleasure to help. We will continue to help
the health system and, as I said before, the most important facility
that Serbia will build is the new hospital in Gračanica. We will
provide capital help to institutions and health centers throughout
Kosovo, where our people live, in order to provide them, in
circumstances that are not very easy, with the best possible
conditions for living and working, but also treating", Jović said.
According to the representative of the Health Center in Donja
Gušterica and the outpatient’s clinic in Lepina, the medicines and
medical supplies delivered will be enough for a few months. From
everything delivered, as they said, they were missing inhaler the
most and it would mean a lot to them.
