This morning, on 15.08.2014, the guest of TV KIM’s Morning program in Caglavica was Ivica Micic, the Director of the Department of Health and Social Protection of the Municipality of Gračanica, where he talked about the elderly and disabled persons in the category of socially endangered, which are now looked after the “geronto housewives” as this people are unable to look after themselves.
Last week, through the Department of Health and Social Welfare, the Municipality of Gracanica started with social program of geronto housewives. Ten young men and women who, as the medical and non-medical staff have been received in the last competition for job, were engaged to work with the users of this social program.
Users of this program, which is implemented by the municipality of Gracanica, are the old people who are more than 65 years old, who are retired, receiving some form of social benefits and are capable of social needs.
After yesterday’s visit of the second channel of Radio Television Kosovo, the interest of the media in the program of "geronto housewives" continued with today’s guesting of the Director of Department of Health and Social Welfare of Gracanica Municipality in the Morning Program of TV KIM.
