An exhibition of children’s works as well as a children's play "Silly
Clowns" were held at the Cultural Center in Gračanica on the
occasion of Gračanica Municipality Day.
The exhibition of children's works on the topic "Color Your Place"
was held at the school in Kišnica first and then at the Cultural
Center in Gračanica.
The best works were awarded: Marija Crvenković, Milica Denić,
Anastasija Marinković, Teodora Kostić, Anastasija Sekulić and
Anastasija Slavić.
Then, a children's play "Silly Clowns", written by Toda Nikoletić
and directed by Cvetko Stanojević and Saša Stojanović, was
played in the hall of the Cultural Center for the present
youngsters.
The show is set in a city where two circuses, Varijete and Korona,
arrive at the same time. Upon arrival in the city, clowns go out to
invite citizens to come and watch their play. Quite by chance, they
run into each other and this is where the problem arises.
They both praise the circus they come from and of course they
quarrel. To determine which of the two is better and which circus
is better, they organize a clown Olympics and leave the audience
to judge them.
