Vladeta Kostic, the president of the Municipal Assembly of Gracanica, travelled together with Milovanovic. On that occasion they will firstly meet in Banja Luka with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanovic, and then visit the children and their hosts.
Before leaving, Milovanovic appreciated that such actions are very important for children from Kosovo, because such visits could make them feel free.
Children from Kosovo, aged from 10 to 15 years from Gracanica, Kosovska Mitrovica, Banja, Suvo Grlo, Osojane, Velika Hoca, Orahovac, Srbica, Istok, Priluzje, Babin Most and Zvecan, have been in the seven-day visit to the Republic of Srpska from August 17, where they have been located in several cities and municipalities. The organizer of the visit was Banja Luka Committee for helping the Serbs from Kosovo.
They travelled to the Republic of Srpska accompanied by the principals and teachers from elementary schools they attend, and will be placed in the families of doctors, deans, professors, directors, politicians, priests, teachers and workers from Banja Luka, Mrkonjic Grad, Gradiska, Prnjavor, Teslic, Bileca and Gacko.
Children from the municipality of Gracanica, 36 of them, are the guests of the municipalities of Bileca. Families from Bileca, some of which hosted five children, received the children in their homes for a week-long. The tours for visiting Bileca, Gacko Tjentiste, the Montenegrin coast, as well as monasteries Dobricevo, Kosijerevo and Ostrog have been organized for them.
Both the organizers and their guests hope that this tradition will continue.
Dr. Nebojsa Milovanovic, Deputy Mayor of Gracanica travelled to the Republic of Srpska in order to visit children from Kosovo who are in seven-day visit to the local families.
