Coach of WFC "Gračanica" Suzana Nedeljkovic said that the biggest obstacle to the functioning of the team was the lack of financial resources.
Suzana Nedeljkovic said: "For each of our departure from Gracanica we need financial resources which we are often lacking. We have recently received an invitation from Mladenovac for a friendly match against the local team. And we do not have funds for that travel. All of this means a lot for our children. There are a lot of talents who are serious about football and it is possible that some of them will play next season for some serious clubs."
Coach of WFC "Hummingbird" Dobrivoje Cavic has been directly or indirectly engaged in football for 47 years. He says that the interest in women’s football is not declining and that the club has a constant increase in the number of members. He alleges that the visit to Gracanica is just continuation of cooperation with the football club "Gracanica".
Cavic said: "We recently hosted women football players from Gracanica and this is just a continuation of our friendly cooperation. We now begin the championship and we will not have much time for visiting, but they will always be our welcome guest, but when there is always free time, we are here in the mood for socializing. We are not interested in results because the basis of all is socializing."
Women football club "Gracanica" was founded in 2013 and run by former starters of FC Pristina Suzana Nedeljkovic and Jovana Perencevic.
Women football club "Gračanica" won 8:0 against the team "Hummingbird" (“Kolibri) from Kursumlija in a friendly match held yesterday at the Sports Complex in Gracanica.
