Works on the reconstruction and the arrangement of the schoolyard, as stated by the municipal Department of Urbanism, Cadaster and Environmental Protection, should be completed until the beginning of the school year.
According to the project manager Suncica Trajkovic, it was predicted, within the planned works, the complete schoolyard parterre arrangement: construction of access paths, road, parking space, arrangement of green areas, the mobiliary will be replaced, summer houses will be set.
Funds for the reconstruction of the schoolyard in the amount of 18.000 euros were fully provided from the budget of the Municipality of Gracanica.
The elementary school „Vuk Karadzic“ is attended by pupils from first to eight grade from Lepina and surrounding villages. Children gathers here in the schoolyard during the summer holiday and thus this investment is considered as very important.
