The Municipality of Gračanica carried out the action of delivering food packages to socially vulnerable Roma families in Gračanica today. Six families from this category of population were provided with basic foodstuffs.
On the basis of citizens’ requests to the Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, and according to the priorities, the employees of the Municipality of Gračanica visited six Roma families in Gračanica today in order to deliver food packages.
These families live in bad economic and social conditions, and according to attestations, the help of the Municipality of Gračanica means a lot to them. All families to whom assistance is being granted today are multi-membered and live mainly from social benefits.
The Municipality of Gračanica will continue to care for its population in the coming period with a special emphasis on the socially vulnerable categories.
