After a multi-month break, the public lighting of the Donja Gušterica-Dobrotin road is operational again. The malfunction was eliminated thanks to the authorities in the Municipality of Gračanica, which greatly increased traffic safety.
Public lighting on the road Donja Gušterica-Dobrotin was not in function for several months due to a malfunction, and now, according to Vladica Trajković, the problem was resolved by the help of a company, which is obliged by contract to maintain the lighting.
“The defects that occurred on subterranean cables and equipment in the control cabinets have been successfully eliminated. In addition to solving these problems and installing new equipment, a greater number of bulbs have been replaced”, Trajković said.
It’s about 1800 meters-long section of the road.
Bearing in mind that this road section is one of the most preferred in the municipality, there were intensive works on the repair of public lighting in the past period.
By putting the lighting between these two places in Gračanica municipality back in function, the safety of traffic participants in the evening and during the night has been increased as well as pedestrians, given that the entire length of the road has also a walking trail.
The Municipality of Gračanica will continue to work on resolving municipal problems of the citizens according to the previously announced strategy of equal investment in all areas in the territory of the municipality.
