The Health Center Gračanica is marking World Oral Health Day in cooperation with the Municipality of Gračanica today. A booth was set up on the plateau in front of the Municipality of Gračanica, where citizens receive advices on the proper maintenance of oral hygiene from the dentist of this healthcare institution.
World Oral Health Day is the largest global campaign to promote oral health. This year, the World Oral Health Day is marked under the slogan “Say Ahh: Act on Mouth Health”.
“Our team of dentists wants to tell children and adults the importance of maintaining proper oral hygiene and preserving tooth health. The action is carried out by the Health Center Gračanica in cooperation with the Municipal Department of Health and Social Welfare”, said dentist Marija Đorđević in the statement for the municipal information service.
Director of the Municipal Department of Health and Social Welfare, Aleksandar Popović said the Municipality of Gračanica would continue to support such actions aimed at providing any kind of assistance to our locals.
“Through this action, the young team of dentists once again confirmed their commitment to their work and determination to transfer their knowledge to their patients. The Municipality of Gračanica and the municipal health department will support any action that helps the development of the health care system”, said Popović.
The booth, where a young team of dentists from the Health Center Gračanica will provide local people with advices on the proper maintenance of oral hygiene on the occasion of World Oral Health Day today, is open throughout the day on the plateau in front of the Municipality of Gračanica.
