This Thursday as well, the Office of the Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, was opened to citizens, who, in directly contact with him, presented problems facing them in their everyday life.
Most of the citizens talked with Mayor Popović about problems troubling them for a long time. So, Vesna Jovanić asked for a solution to the housing issue.
“I live in a desperate situation in a container settlement. My husband and I do not live together for a long time, he is sick now and children are looking to return to live with me. But the conditions in the container home are bad, we cannot all be in a couple of square meters”, said Vesna.
Sema Čelić from Preoce also asked for help in housing care.
“I was looking for a solution to the housing problem, because we live in bad conditions, a four-member family in one room. I work privately, I’m not able to provide better conditions. I believe it would be easier if we gate a residence”, he said.
Even today, there were citizens who asked Srđan Popović, the Mayor of Gračanica municipality, for the help in finding a job, but also other everyday problems.
Popović points out that a lot of problems have been solved thanks to the talks, and that there is still work on solving some of them.
There is a great interest for the meeting with the first man of the local self-government, as evidenced by the fact that the dates within the next seven months are all filled.
