The municipal inspection department warns the villagers to refrain
from burning the harvest residues and waste in order to avoid
possible unintended consequences and preserve the
environment.
During the harvest period there are frequent incidents of burning
stubble, straw and other residues from agricultural production and
harvesting. Citizens often burn plant residues while tidying up
their yards.
The municipal inspection department calls all citizens for
conscientious and responsible behavior.
"I ask all citizens not to burn stubble or any waste, because in
addition to the threat to the environment, uncontrolled burning of
waste outdoors can lead to unintended consequences", warned
the director of the municipal inspection department, Miloš
Aritonović.
For all citizens who are unfamiliar, we would like to emphasize
that the burning of any waste in the open is forbidden by law.
