Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, and representatives of the International NGO “ASB” signed a memorandum of cooperation on the implementation of the project “Integrated Socio-Economic Support for the Most Vulnerable Families”.
Popović signed the agreement with the representative of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Deutschland e. V. (ASB) in Kosovo, Dafina Hoxha.
The project that is being implemented by ASB is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
In cooperation and co-financing by the Municipality of Gračanica, the project aims to support fifteen socially vulnerable families from the territory of the local self-government during this year, in creating better living conditions and establishing small family businesses.
For this purpose, the representatives of the ASB will cooperate with the Municipality of Gračanica, that is, the Department of Health and Social Welfare, in order to jointly determine the beneficiaries that meet the necessary criteria and support them with grants or necessary equipment.
According to the signed agreement, 15 families will be supported by grants and equipment in the amount of 2,500 euros.
The signing of the agreement was also attended by Director of Health and Social Welfare Department, Aleksandar Popović.
