The Municipality of Gračanica has approved the construction of
six houses on the basis of the competition from the Social
Housing Map.
According to the previous competition, the commission decided
the municipality to build six new residential units for families from
the social category, young married couples and displaced
persons. Six of them, who will get roof over their heads up to the
end of the year, have been selected.
According to the Director of the Municipal Department of
Urbanism, Dejan Jovanović, the construction of six houses will
begin by the end of the summer because the tender procedure is
in progress.
He said that six families from six villages in Gračanica
municipality had been selected to get houses, and the
commission made the decision on the selection of families on the
basis of a detailed analysis of the documentation and establishing
the facts.
Jovanović states that one of the leading priorities of the
Municipality of Gračanica is residential care, which will continue
even after the construction of these six houses. The construction
of new residential buildings in Gračanica is in plan, as well as the
continuation of the allocation of construction materials, all
according to the Social Housing Map.
He invites villagers who participated in the competition to be
patient and everyone will be helped in accordance with the
possibilities and needs of families.
