The Municipality of Gračanica is investing its efforts to make Gračanica a genuine administrative center, solving two key problems of the population – housing care and unemployment, Srđan Popović, the Mayor of Gračanica municipality, said as a guest of Radio Gračanica.
Popović pointed out that the Municipality of Gračanica would, as before, work and be at the service of all its citizens, but would also invest all its forces in urbanization, in order to make this place a real administrative center.
“I, as the Mayor of Gračanica, am especially proud and happy that there is still the energy, strength and courage of our people here to deal with all the problems, but on the other hand, in people working in the local self-government, to have ideas on how to channel their courage and energy through the development programs that our municipality has”, Popović said.
Popović pointed out the Municipality of Gračanica would continue to work on resolving two key problems of the local population, which were a housing issue and unemployment.
Being a guest of the newly-built studio of Radio Gračanica together with the Director of JP “Mreža Most”, Slađana Ivančević, Mayor Popović wished the media success in further work.
Director Ivančević first thanked the Mayor of Gračanica municipality for excellent cooperation, which he had with that media house and with the entire “Mreža Most” and being the first guest to open the use of new equipment.
“I want your program to be much better, and to all my colleagues, our fellow citizens, listeners, and our viewers, I wish Happy Easter holidays. I wish a lot of happiness and health, but above all, peace for all of us in Kosovo and Metohija, and I think that this should be fulfilled already”, said Director Ivančević.
Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović said Radio Gračanica was just “the voice of the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija and correctly reported what was happening in this region in all previous post-war years”.
“I thank Director Ivančević for nice words and hope that our cooperation will continue to be at an excellent level in the future as well as before, and the Municipality of Gračanica will always be there for cooperation and support to your media house”, said Popović.
