Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, had talks with representatives of German organization Help about the current and future cooperation.
One of the main topics, among other things, was this year’s grant awarding based on the signed agreement with the municipality of Gračanica on the implementation of the project “Support to Socio-Economic Stability Through Empowerment of Micro Businesses”.
As it was pointed out, the representatives of Help and representatives of the local self-government will soon visit the people who applied for the grant of this German organization this year, after which the winners will be known.
Mayor Popović thanked the representatives of Help for concrete and successful cooperation, as well as the support they had given to the citizens of Gračanica municipality over the past years, primarily through awarding of grants to start own business or to empower existing ones.
The topic of the conversation was also the container housing development on Padalište. Namely, Help is interested in cooperation with the Municipality of Gračanica and UNHCER on the complete closure of the container housing development, as well as solving the housing problem of the local tenants.
