Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, hosted and, on that occasion, talked with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and the Embassy of that country in Kosovo.
The Secretary of the Swiss Embassy, Vincent Hug and the representatives of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tamara Murer and Sabrina Bukhler, who during their visit to Kosovo expressed their wish to visit the Municipality of Gračanica and talk to the first man of the local self-government about the current situation, met with Popović.
Mayor Popović informed the representatives of Switzerland about all previous and planned activities and projects.
Popović put a special accent on the project of Urbanization of Gračanica, which envisages even investment in all places in Gračanica municipality. In addition, there were words also about economic, commercial and tourism potentials.
The guests from Switzerland were especially interested in the position of the Serbian and other non-majority communities in our municipality.
On this occasion, Mayor Popović emphasized that the Municipality of Gračanica was open to all communities alike, and that problems were solved jointly through regular communication and dialogue, all with the aim of improving the lives of citizens.
