Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, met today with the Colonel of the Italian KFOR, Nicola Perrone.
At the meeting, there were words on the current security situation, especially in the territory of Gračanica municipality, as well as on the continuation of joint cooperation.
Mayor Popović and Colonel Perrone agreed that the security situation was satisfactory and that there were no major problems.
Popović said that the security of the residents was in the first place, and that it was important in this respect to preserve a stable and peaceful situation.
Colonel Perrone said that KFOR regularly monitored the situation in Gračanica municipality through its liaison and monitoring teams.
He notes that KFOR is dedicated to its mission, a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
