Although there are partial conditions for the return to places of origin, the municipality of Gracanica has offered the municipal land in Suvi Do where the residential buildings for returnees could be constructed through non-governmental and governmental organizations and institutions dealing with this issue.
On this occasion, a meeting of the representatives of UNHCR, non-governmental organization dealing with the issue of displaced "KAD" and the Municipality of Lipljan with the Deputy Mayor of the municipality of Gracanica Nebojsa Milovanovic, Director of Urbanism Dejan Jovanovic and head of the Office of Returns and Communities of the municipality of Gracanica Elvira Kesas Hoxha, was held in the municipality of Gracanica .
The meeting was held in order to prepare for the "Go and See" visit of displaced families from the municipality of Lipljan which is planned for 25th of September, 2014. On that day, the displaced families currently living in central Serbia will visit a location in Suvi Do, which Gracanica municipality defined as a place where residential buildings can be constructed. If displaced families are consonant with the place of return, there will be preparation of the project for residential construction.
A day later, on 26 September, in the Municipality of Lipljan will be held a joint meeting at which there will be agreed the modalities for further action towards solving of this issue.
Several dozens of families of Serbian and other minority communities from the territory of the Municipality of Lipljan are determined in their intention to return to Kosovo. A meeting was held in the municipality of Gracanica, in order to help the displaced in their intention.
