The attendants in front of Gracanica Municipality were welcomed by the president of the Assembly Brankica Kostic, who on this occasion said that there had been done a lot in all areas of local government, but the needs are much greater.
Kostic said: " Unfortunately, the budget cannot cover all the problems and because of that we are here together to identify the major problems and find a way to compensate as many needs."
A representative of Preoce said that the highest priorities for the village are asphalting of streets, renovation of school, sanitation of old and construction of new sewers, bus stops, children’s playground, and as the biggest problem he highlighted the troubleshooting of wastewater.
Director of the Department of Urbanism Dejan Jovanovic replied that most of the budget for 2015 was provided for solving of wastewater.
A Representative of Laplje Selo said the same problems bother the residents of that place and asked the solving of sewage problem, regularly cleaning of Gracanka river and building of sidewalks.
The budget for 2015 was once again presented by the Director of the Department of Finance Slavisa Nicic. It totally amounts EUR 6,083,185.00, of which the amount of EUR 2,767,257.00 was planned for the capital expenditures.
The fourth presentation of the budget of the municipality of Gracanica for the residents of Preoce, Laplje Selo and Caglavica was held yesterday in Preoce. As at the previous presentations, the residents mostly required investments in infrastructure projects in 2015.
