Director of the Department of Finance of Gracanica Municipality Slavisa Nicic explained the budget proposal after which the Director of the Department of Urbanism Dejan Jovanovic said that infrastructure projects will continue next year, but the unsettled sewage remains a major problem in the municipality.
Therefore, according to him, most of the funds from the budget will be allocated for solving this problem. Also, new roads will be reconstructed and built, parks will be landscaped and houses for young couples, families and vulnerable returnees will be built.
Plan is to regulate the riverbed in Laplje Selo, to open Business center in Gracanica, Shopping Malls in Ugljare and Lepina, churches in Badovac and Caglavica, Tourist Information Centre in Gracanica, playground in Laplje Selo, Exhibition Pavilion in Gracanica. Also, the construction of the Parish House and belfry in Gusterica and reconstruction of several schools and gyms in the municipality have been planned.
The residents of Gracanica, Susica and New Badovac have presented their proposals for the arrangement of these places, including the arrangement of tennis courts and the promotion of sports in general in Gracanica and a proposal for the construction of the High School Center. The residents of Badovac requested help in regulating of the legal status of the house in New Badovac for residents who get home 22 years ago when they left Old Badovac due to a spilling of dam.
The residents have also thanked to the directors of municipal departments on an attempt to continue with infrastructure works and supported all the mentioned ideas.
The presentation of the budget in Gracanica, in addition to the director of the municipal departments, was attended by the president of the Assembly of Gracanica Municipality Gracanica Brankica Kostic.
The last public presentation of the budget of the Municipality of Gracanica for 2015 was held last night in Gracanica.
