As announced by the Department of Public Service, it is a replacement of existing water pipe with a new one, in the length of 1,500 meters. The work is carried out on the basis of a recently signed memorandum between the municipality of Gracanica and Regional waterworks in Pristina.
Funds for the purchase of pipes in the length of 1,000 meters were allocated by the municipality of Gracanica and other 500 meters by Regional Waterworks, which finances all the other work that includes excavation, pipe replacement and connection.
"Teams are in the field and are currently working on replacement of the first 500 meters of pipes. Placing a new pipe, we expect to solve the problem of frequent breakdowns and disruption of water supply and residents will regularly receive drinking water," announced the Department of Public Services of the municipality of Gracanica.
Work on the replacement of the water pipes, which will solve the problem of frequent breakdowns and provide residents with a regular supply of water, started in Gracanica, at Tomislav Sekulic St. in Padalište settlment.
