A meeting between representatives of Gracanica Municipality and residents of Gornja and Donja Gusterica, Dobrotin and Livadje was held in the Hall of the House of Culture in Donja Gusterica, at which they discussed about the municipal budget for the coming year. This was an opportunity for the residents to expose the priority problems and proposals that, in their opinion, should be included in municipal plans for 2015.
The meeting was opened by the President of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gracanica Brankica Kostic, after which the Director of Finance Slavisa Nicic presented the budget for the coming year. Deputy Mayor Nebojsa Milovanovic and directors of municipal departments have explained what agreed activities had already been completed, what’s coming in the future period and when and what jobs can be expected.
As the highest priority problems which should be resolved in the future, the residents pointed out the construction of a new and sanitation of existing sewerage, roads and other infrastructure, and there were concrete proposals and projects.
The residents of Donja Gusterica pointed out a building of parish house, a new belfry, complete reconstruction of the church and reconstruction of the old school in the centre of the village, while the villagers of Gornja Gusterica suggested completion of streets’ asphalting, expanding of the riverbed, extension of the school building and building of a House of Culture in that village. The residents of Livadje requested asphalting of the road to school, and creation of footpath along the road running through the village, while the residents of Dobrotin demanded the reconstruction of the House of Culture.
Cycle of public presentation of the budget of the Municipality of Gracanica for 2015 will be continued today at 17 pm at the Cultural Center in Preoce with the residents of Preoce, Caglavica and Laplje Selo, and then at 19 pm at the Cultural Center in Gracanica with the residents of Gracanica, Badovac, Susice and Kisnica.
Construction of a new and rehabilitation of existing infrastructure are the main requirements of the residents of Gornja and Donja Gusterica, Dobrotin and Livadje after the presentation of the budget of the Municipality of Gracanica for 2015.
