Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, handed over sports equipment to the youth of Dobrotin today.
Popović handed over backboards, hoops, nets and basketball and soccer balls to the youth in Dobrotin, a village in Gračanica municipality.
The sports equipment was provided by the Municipality of Gračanica through the Department of Youth and Sports, at the request of the youth of Dobrotin, and for the needs of sports activities on the multipurpose field there.
“We quickly fulfilled the demands of the youth from Dobrotin and I’m glad that the worn backboards and hoops will be replaced with new ones”, said the Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović.
“We want and will try to restore sports fields and equipment in all places, all in order to develop sport and sports spirit in the youth and promote healthy values”, Popović added.
Mayor Popović reminded that during 2018, the sports hall in Laplje Selo was opened and sports equipment and props were donated to schools and sports clubs in order to develop sport.
