This year’s public presentation of the budget for 2015 the representatives of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gracanica started in Ugljare, in order to present the residents the planned budget for 2015. Several dozen of people were present in the premises of the Elementary School in Ugljare, the budget was presented by the Director of Budget, Finance and Economic Development Slavisa Nicic, while citizens’ questions were answered by President of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gracanica Brankica Kostic, Deputy Mayor Nebojsa Milovanovic, as well as by the directors of municipal departments.
Addressing the present, the President of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gracanica Brankica Kostic called the residents to nominate their priorities and what is the most needed to be done for the benefit of all in order to jointly participate in the municipal budget planning for the next year.
"The total budget of the Municipality of Gracanica for 2015 amounts to EUR 6,083,185.00, of which EUR 2,550,000.00 are planned to be spent on salaries and wages, EUR 765,928.00 on goods and services, public utilities and subsidies, while planned amount for the capital expenditure is EUR 2,767,257.00. In comparison with the budget from 2014, the budget for 2015 is higher by 9.46% or EUR 525,809.00," said the Director of the Budget, Finance and Economic Development Slavisa Nicic, and added that for 2015 Gracanica got EUR 110,000.00 as a pilot project for residential services provided in the area of social protection for children with special needs.
Deputy Mayor Nebojsa Milovanovic said that the Municipality was ready to listen to all the comments and suggestions of the citizens in the creation of budget for the next year and expressed the hope that the next year’s, as well as this year’s proposed projects of the citizens will be realized. The deputy mayor said that the problem of unemployment is a big problem in the whole territory of the Municipality of Gracanica, where he stated a private business as something what solves unemployment.
As the highest priority problems the residents of Ugljare highlighted the regulation of capital infrastructure.
Aleksandar Stolic from Ugljare thanked to the representatives of the Municipality for the current performance for this village, and asked, on behalf of the villagers, for the solution to the problem of sewage and flooding of the field.
As the highest priority problems the residents of Ugljare highlighted regulation of sewerage network, asphalting of the side streets in the village, cleaning of illegal dump sites, reconstruction of street lighting and troubleshooting of electrical energy because the restrictions are common although residents regularly pay their bills.
The first public presentation of the budget of the Municipality of Gracanica in 2015 for the residents of Ugljare was held yesterday at the premises of the Elementary School in Ugljare. As the highest priority problems, the villagers stressed the need for the investment in the implementation of major capital infrastructure projects.
