The second item of the agenda was related to the consideration and adoption of the resignation of the former chairperson of the Municipal Assembly and the election of a new chairman. After presentation of the explanation on the resignation of Vladeta Kostic, the former chairman of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gracanica, a three-member commission was composed in order of conduction of the secret ballot, where Brankica Kostic was elected as the new president with 14 votes from the present 18 committeemen.
A decision on naming the Square of liberators of Gracanica was unanimously adopted.
The request for the transfer of funds from the goods and services into subsidies in the amount of EUR 70,000.00, at the proposal of the Director of the Department of Budget and Finance Slavisa Nicic, was unanimously approved at the session. There has also been considered the request on the allocation of subsidies in the amount of EUR 50,000.00 for the Agricultural Cooperative, which was also adopted.
Amendments to the decision of the Municipal Assembly of Gracanica No Gb-305 on the establishment of the Municipal Community Safety Council, at the proposal of the Chairman of the Assembly Vladeta Kostic, were also adopted.
Amendments to the decision of the Municipal Assembly of Gracanica No Gb-203 on the relocation of the monument "Simonida" and the installation at the monumental complex "King Milutin" in the school yard of the elementary school "King Milutin" in Gracanica, at the proposal of the Chairman of the Assembly Vladeta Kostic, were adopted. This proposal was returned from the ministry because in one of the decisions stand Kosovska Mitrovica, where after short discussion councilors adopted a proposal that instead of Kosovska Mitrovica stands North Mitrovica.
The request which was submitted by Dragan Dimitrijevic, the Director of the Department of Culture, Education, Youth and Sports, was adopted and refers to the allocation of land for construction of school in Kisnica, in which classes will be conducted in the Albanian language. Approved area on which the school will be built is 50 ares.
The Session of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gracanica was partially closed to the public, in order to avoid violations of privacy at the individual items on the agenda as well as the disclosure of sensitive information.
The third regular session of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gracanica, whose agenda was supplemented with two new items, has been held. After the adoption of the supplemented agenda, the minutes of the fourth extraordinary session was approved unanimously.
